THE UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA
INTERFRATERNITY COUNCIL
FALL 2025 RECRUITMENT INFORMATION
Below you will find the recruitment schedule. If you have any questions, please reach out to IFC Vice President of Membership, Sammy Myers (vpm@ufifc.org) or the IFC Advisor, Simonne Horman (shorman@ufl.edu).
Registration for IFC recruitment is $25. This covers expenses related to the recruitment process. There is also an opportunity to donate to IFC's annual Charity Golf Tournament that benefits local non-profit, Gainesville Thrives.
Please note that you must be a degree-seeking student enrolled in at least one credit hour at the University of Florida to join an IFC fraternity. Failure to meet this criterion could lead to student conduct action as it is a violation of University policy. Incoming Innovation Academy students are NOT eligible to join a Greek organization during their FIRST fall semester at the University of Florida, they will have to wait until Spring 2026 to join. If you have specific questions about your eligibility, please contact the Office of Sorority and Fraternity Life at 352-846-3171 or go to https://greeks.ufl.edu/resources/faqs/.

Please be respectful and contact the fraternity that extended the bid and inform them of your decision).

If you wish to downgrade or upgrade your UF meal plan, there is no restriction on when that can be done. A two-semester commitment is required on whatever plan chosen.
