Welcome to the Interfraternity Council at the University of Florida!

The Interfraternity Council (IFC) at the University of Florida is the governing body for 26 men’s fraternities, the majority of which have privately owned chapter houses. The IFC is chiefly responsible for ensuring the performance of its chapters with regards to the pillars of scholarship, leadership, service and community.

Whether you are an incoming Gator, a transfer student, or current member of the UF student body, we want you to take advantage of the benefits Interfraternity Council has to offer during your time in college. Being part of the IFC community provides numerous opportunities to grow as a student and as a person. The fraternal system is one of the most time-honored collegiate institutions nationally, and it is no different at UF. This reputation is not only due to the past and present members, but the next generation of men who take it upon themselves to continue to improve these institutions of brotherhood. The Interfraternity Council at the University of Florida has something for everyone. Our members excel in all aspects of student life, including academics, athletics, service, and leadership. Our community creates a place for every man to find the fit that will allow him to flourish here at UF.
